Made in Iroko. The body has been strengthened as in the Mk1 model. All in a sanded finish.
Comes complete with all fitting machine screws and rudder split pin on a lanyard.
Can also be supplied complete with a bronze guide plate fitted, as well as the split pin and lanyard.
Mizen mast step. This is what it should look like, however there is an inherent weakness if the mast is allowed to thrash back and fore in a slack slot. Refer to my note on whipping the mast to take up this slack and if your boat is left on a mooring in a passage of water where there is a lot of traffic, causing lots of water disturbance, then take the mast out and lie it inside the boat, it’s this rolling of the boat in disturbed water that causes the mast to thrash around in its slot.
